Product Overview
The oxygen membrane is a high-efficiency separation device that uses membrane separation technology to enrich oxygen from air. By physically separating gas components, it increases the oxygen concentration in air to 25%–50%, producing oxygen-enriched air. This technology features a compact structure, simple operation, low energy consumption, and low investment cost, making it ideal for industrial combustion enhancement, HVAC fresh air systems, high-altitude oxygen supply, and aquaculture. Compared with cryogenic and pressure swing adsorption (PSA/VPSA) methods, membrane oxygen enrichment is more economical and flexible for small- to medium-scale applications.
Working Principle
The oxygen membrane operates based on the selective permeability of gases through a polymer membrane. Driven by a pressure difference, gases in the air diffuse through the membrane at different rates. Because oxygen has a higher diffusion rate and solubility than nitrogen, it preferentially passes through the membrane, while nitrogen and other gases remain on the opposite side—resulting in oxygen-enriched air. The process requires no chemical reactions or phase changes, ensuring simple structure, stable operation, and easy maintenance.
