The membrane-based TiO₂ recovery system is a high-efficiency solid-liquid separation and resource recovery solution designed for titanium dioxide production. It targets the recovery and reuse of TiO₂ particles from wastewater, addressing the limitations of traditional sedimentation processes in handling fine particles. Working Principle

During TiO₂ production, wastewater often contains fine TiO₂ particles that are difficult to settle using conventional inclined plate or sedimentation methods. The membrane-based system uses ceramic microfiltration membranes to perform precise filtration, efficiently separating TiO₂ from the liquid.

Membrane Filtration: Wastewater containing TiO₂ particles enters the ceramic microfiltration system. The stable pore structure of the membranes captures suspended TiO₂ particles while allowing water and sulfuric acid molecules to pass through, producing clear filtrate.

Resource Recovery: The recovered TiO₂ particles can be returned directly to the production process.
