Product Overview

The membrane-based oil–water separation system is an efficient solution designed for the treatment and reuse of oily wastewater.

Based on membrane separation technology, the system enables selective separation of oil, water, and suspended solids. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, including oilfield produced water, industrial oily wastewater, and cleaning effluents under complex operating conditions.

With its compact design, stable performance, and high level of automation, the system helps reduce treatment costs while enabling water reuse and compliant discharge.

Working Principle

The system utilizes the selective separation properties of membrane materials to achieve deep treatment of oily wastewater.

Through the microporous structure of ceramic membranes or carbon tube membranes, water molecules can pass through the membrane, while oil droplets, emulsified oil, and suspended particles are effectively retained, achieving efficient oil–water separation.

In operation, wastewater such as oilfield produced water, cold rolling oily wastewater, and degreasing solutions first enter an equalization unit to stabilize water quality. It then flows into the membrane system for fine filtration and separation.

After membrane treatment, oil content and suspended solids are significantly reduced. The treated water meets discharge or reuse standards, while oil components are effectively separated and recovered.
