DTRO Disc-Tube Reverse Osmosis Membrane

Disc‑tube RO membrane delivering strong, efficient purification for high‑salinity water.
Product Details

Product Overview

The DTRO (Disc-Tube Reverse Osmosis) membrane is specially designed for high-concentration wastewater concentration and volume reduction. It offers excellent resistance to high pressure, high fouling, high organic load, and high salinity.

Its unique disc-stack structure and open-channel design effectively address common issues in traditional spiral-wound membranes, such as clogging and difficult maintenance under high-load conditions.

The DTRO membrane is widely used in landfill leachate, industrial wastewater, and other complex water treatment applications, providing high recovery rates and stable permeate performance while enabling resource reuse.

Working Principle

The DTRO membrane operates on the pressure-driven reverse osmosis principle, separating solutes from solvents across the membrane under a pressure differential.

Disc modules are stacked to form a membrane column. The flow guide plates optimize water turbulence, reducing concentration polarization and scaling risk. Under high-pressure operation, the octagonal structure generates “S”-shaped high-frequency vibrations that continuously scour the membrane surface, achieving self-cleaning and efficient mass transfer.

Integrated component design enhances pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, and simplifies maintenance and assembly.

Key Features

l “Four-High” Resistance: Handles high pressure, high fouling index (SDI), high COD, and high TDS conditions.

l Strong Anti-Fouling Capability: Raised-flow guide plates and optimized turbulence design reduce scaling and concentration polarization.

l Open Wide-Channel Design: 1.2 mm wide channels without mesh structures enhance self-cleaning performance.

l High Pressure Tolerance: Disc-tube membrane columns improve overall pressure resistance.

l Easy Maintenance: Individual membrane sheets can be replaced, with simple cleaning procedures.

l High-Frequency Vibration: Octagonal structure generates “S”-shaped vibrations that continuously scour the membrane surface.

l Integrated Construction: Combines pressure flange and flow flange for improved pressure and corrosion resistance, simplifying assembly and disassembly.

Applications

l Landfill Leachate Treatment: Achieves over 85% recovery for leachate from landfills and waste-to-energy plants.

l Coal Chemical Wastewater Concentration: Stable operation under high salinity and high organic load conditions.

l Coking Wastewater Deep Treatment: Improves system recovery and volume reduction efficiency.

l Mine Wastewater Management: Enhances water recycling and resource utilization.

l Electroplating Wastewater Reuse: Enables precious metal recovery and water reuse.

l Zero-Discharge Chemical Wastewater Systems: Handles complex and variable chemical production wastewater.

l Steel Industry Wastewater Treatment: Suitable for highly polluted, high-suspended-solid water streams.
