Product Overview
The CO₂ membrane is an advanced gas separation system designed for the efficient separation and recovery of carbon dioxide (CO₂) using selective membrane technology. By exploiting the membrane’s preferential permeability to CO₂, the system achieves precise gas separation in natural gas processing, biogas upgrading, and industrial flue gas treatment. Featuring a compact design, stable operation, low energy consumption, and minimal maintenance, the CO₂ membrane system significantly reduces emissions, enhances resource utilization, and helps industries achieve energy-saving and carbon-reduction goals.
Working Principle
The membrane-based CO₂ separation process relies on differences in gas diffusion and solubility within the membrane material. Under a pressure gradient, CO₂-rich gas enters the membrane module. Because CO₂ molecules diffuse and permeate faster than other gases, they preferentially pass through the membrane, forming a CO₂-enriched permeate stream. The remaining gas on the retentate side becomes CO₂-depleted, yielding purified product gas. This fully physical process operates without phase changes, under mild conditions at near-ambient temperature and pressure, ensuring continuous, energy-efficient, and sustainable operation.
