Biogas Membrane

High‑efficiency membrane enabling selective biogas purification for renewable energy applications.
Product Details

Product Overview

The biogas membrane system is an efficient methane purification and recovery solution. It uses membrane separation technology to extract methane from other gas components in biogas, increasing methane purity and converting biogas into a clean, renewable energy source.

This system is suitable for biogas produced from waste treatment plants, landfills, and agricultural organic residues. It enables efficient methane recovery and purification under medium- to high-pressure conditions, enhancing the value of biogas for natural gas grid injection or as vehicle fuel.

Working Principle

The biogas membrane operates based on gas membrane separation. Polymer membranes selectively allow certain gas components to pass through: methane permeates more slowly and is enriched, while water vapor, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen pass through more quickly.

The system runs continuously under a pressure difference, with no frequent chemical replacement required, and can operate reliably under medium- to high-pressure conditions for stable methane purification.
