Working Principle
The Polypropylene (PP) Wound Filter Cartridge is made by tightly winding yarn around a porous core with a specific density, forming a honeycomb structure with gradually decreasing pore size from the outer layer to the inner core. This structure effectively captures suspended particles, microparticles, rust, and other impurities. As liquid flows through the outer layers and passes through the winding channels, larger particles settle due to gravity in the coarse yarn channels, while smaller particles are intercepted by the fibers. This tiered filtration process enhances contaminant removal efficiency. The increase in filter precision, along with the additional internal channels, allows the cartridge to achieve high-efficiency filtration even at low pressure differentials.
