Nitrogen-Enriched Membrane

Nitrogen-Enriched Membrane. Enables efficient nitrogen enrichment. High performance.
Product Details

‌Working Principle

The nitrogen-enriched membrane utilizes the difference in solubility and diffusion rates of nitrogen and oxygen in air when subjected to pressure differences across the membrane. Gases with faster permeation rates, such as water vapor and oxygen, pass through the membrane more readily, becoming oxygen-enriched gas. Meanwhile, nitrogen, which permeates more slowly, accumulates on the retention side, becoming dry, nitrogen-enriched gas.

Product Features

No Phase Change: The separation process involves no phase change, resulting in minimal nitrogen pressure loss and low energy consumption.

Simple Operation: With no moving parts, it operates continuously and reliably, requiring minimal maintenance.

Adjustable Flexibility: The nitrogen concentration and flow rate can be adjusted based on requirements.

Quick Start/Stop: The system produces stable nitrogen-enriched gas within minutes of startup.

Low Operating Cost: Compact design with low running costs.

Oxygen-Enriched Option: The system can also produce oxygen-enriched gas with up to 50% purity.

Materials and Structure

Membrane Materials: Primarily divided into metal, inorganic, and polymer membranes based on material composition.

Membrane Configurations: Available in flat-sheet, spiral-wound, and hollow-fiber forms, with hollow-fiber polymer membranes being the most promising for wide applications.
