‌Working principle

Multi-column self-cleaning filters achieve efficient filtration and automatic cleaning through the following steps:

Filtration process: Water enters the filter from the inlet, first passes through the coarse filter screen to remove the larger particle impurities, and then flows to the fine filter screen. In this process, the fine filter gradually accumulates the dirt and impurities in the water, forming a filter impurity layer, resulting in the formation of pressure differences on both sides of the inside and outside.

Automatic cleaning: When the pressure difference reaches a preset value, the filter automatically starts the cleaning process and the clean water supply continues. After the cleaning valve is opened, the water pressure in the cleaning chamber and the suction device drops significantly, and suction is generated through the pressure difference between the filter cartridge and the suction tube, forming the suction process.

Cleaning execution: The electric motor drives the suction pipe along the axial spiral movement, combined with the axial and rotating movement, to completely clean the inner surface of the filter screen. The whole flushing process takes only tens of seconds, after the cleaning is finished, the blowdown valve is closed, and the filter is ready for the next cleaning cycle.
