Working Principle
The air dryer membrane works on the principle of selective permeability, using membrane materials to separate and dry gases based on their different permeation rates. When moist air passes through the membrane under pressure, water vapor molecules, due to their smaller size and higher solubility, pass through the membrane quickly. In contrast, other gas molecules like oxygen and nitrogen pass through more slowly. This effectively removes water vapor from the moist air, producing dry air that can be used in various applications such as industrial processes, gas treatment, and electronics manufacturing. The air dryer membrane system is efficient, low-energy, easy to maintain, and can operate continuously, making it widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, and electronics manufacturing industries.
